Helipower was selected by Ergon Energy as the helicopter service provider for the Mt Mackay Tower Installation project.  The scope of the project including: Erecting a new 21m self-supporting tower Erecting a new site hut (emergency shelter) Installing two new AC Generators and associated cabling and equipment Removing and re-installing

The North Head Lighthouse is one of Bowen’s iconic landmarks and it is the Bowen Independent’s mission to restore it so it’s around for years to come. Built in 1866, the lighthouse has been slowly deteriorating since it was turned off in the mid-1980s, when a light was put on
